What if my cat gets sick whilst I am away?
Fluffy Cat Care will try to contact you immediately if there are any signs of sickness in your cat. If the cat looks to be seriously unwell, we will take it to your designated vet. If this vet is not available for any reason (fully booked/closed) we will take your cat to a suitably qualified local emergency vet. We will keep you informed of the outcome of any vet visits. If you are uncontactable, any decisions around treatment and medication will be made at the recommendation of the vet and will be in the very best interests of your cat. You will be required to pay for all veterinary and travel costs.
What happens if there is an emergency with my house whilst I am away?
Fluffy Cat Care cannot be responsible for your property; however, we will keep an eye on it for any obvious issues or defects whilst you are away. In the event of an emergency situation, you will be contacted to seek clarification on how you would like any issues handled and we will do our best to assist where possible.
How does key collection and drop off work?
Key collection usually takes place 1-2 days prior to your departure. Key return can be either directly to you in person a day or two after your return home, left with a concierge or posted through your letter box.
What if I need to extend my cat sitting service whilst I am away?
Fluffy Cat Care will always try to accommodate any requests for extension to a cat sitting service once the cat sitting job has started. However, if this is not possible you will need to organise cat care though a friend, neighbour or family member. We will do our best to assist with providing access to your property with your express written permission.
Can you put my bins out?
Unfortunately, the service does not extend to putting out or bringing bins in.
What if my journey home is delayed?
We always put extra food out for cats in case of a delay on your homebound journey.
What area do you cover?
We primarily cover South Ealing and Brentford – as long as we can reach you by bike or walking, we can help.
What time are visits?
Morning visits are before 09:00 and evening visits are after 17:00. We are unable to guarantee the exact times we will visit but if you have specific preferred times, we will try to meet those requirements where possible. We are sometimes able to do a lunch time visit but this may not be possible every day of the week.
Will you keep me updated on my cat's wellbeing whilst I am away?
Yes, we will send you a message on every visit along with photos and/or videos keeping you updated on how your cat is, and what they have been up to whilst you are away from home!
